Events Director 

Candace Parks is a veteran of the hospitality and interior design industries. With an Interior Design and Sculpture Degree from SCAD, she uses her vast experience to create unique interactive events for clients. Whether you are looking to host a grand opening or a private party, Candace knows who to call, how to budget, and what will make your event one for the books. She is also a proud mom of two and constantly amazes us with her time management skills.

Kennedy Bramer 

Project Manager 

Kennedy began her marketing and PR journey in Los Angeles, CA in the fashion and music industries. Having worked with some of the world’s top luxury retailers and most notable names in rap music, her experience and skill set is diverse in marketing and image creation. Since moving back to her hometown of Atlanta, a variety of different scopes of work have been added to her belt, making her adaptable to take on any client.

Anne Winters

Project Manager 

A beach bum at heart, Anne currently resides in the beautiful city of Charleston. She graduated with a dual degree in Business and Hospitality Management from the College of Charleston. Anne is also COO and partner for Women Entrepreneurs Incorporated. This experience has made her one of the most well-connected women in the city and an expert in event planning. When she’s not crushing her to-do list, she’s looking up travel destinations and hopping on a plane for her next big adventure. ​

Catherine Rush 

Project Manager 

Catherine Rush got her start in event management in Athens, GA, transitioning from throwing house parties and organizing poetry readings to booking shows, coordinating fundraisers, and acting as a liaison for a variety of art functions. Since coming to Atlanta, she’s become a pro at local venue sourcing and talent management, while establishing event programs for high-end galleries and DIY locations alike. Also a writer, artist, and perpetual student, Rush especially enjoys collaborating with clients to find ways to use what they have to get what they need.

Maressa Michalek

Project Manager 

Maressa Michalek is a brand chameleon, able to shift between specific messaging and tone in the blink of an eye. She has been honing her strategic writing skills since she was in the single digits, and was drafted to the BKM team to assist with project management, copywriting, and social media campaigns. Her ongoing goal: turn up the volume on the voice of others in order to help them succeed.

Michelle Schmidt

Project Manager 

Michelle is originally from the Washington, D.C. area, but has lived in Charleston for the better part of a decade. She graduated from College of Charleston with a degree in Communications and a minor in Political Science. After working briefly for a South Carolina Congressman, she worked in the corporate sales world for three years, which took her from the largest global wedding company to a software start-up in the tech industry. Her diverse experience combined with her strong communications background have equipped her to adapt to any situation and problem solve like a pro. Also a fitness junkie, when she's not enjoying all that Charleston has to offer, you can find Michelle at the spin studio where she is an instructor. ⁠
